A five-star hotel chain in Southeast Asia required premium redwood dining sets to furnish their grand lobby dining area. The project demanded furniture that would convey luxury and cultural authenticity while meeting strict hospitality industry standards for durability and fire safety.
Yunxiao manufactured twelve complete redwood dining sets, each comprising a square table with a rotating lazy Susan and six intricately carved chairs. All pieces were finished with eco-friendly beeswax and lacquer meeting EU REACH and US CARB standards. The hotel's design team collaborated with Yunxiao's artisans to customize carving patterns that reflected local cultural motifs.
The production spanned 58 working days, including a 36-day constant humidity drying process for each piece. The furniture was delivered in two partial shipments to accommodate the hotel's renovation schedule. The hotel reported increased guest engagement in the lobby area and featured the furniture in their promotional materials, noting the warm golden tones of the redwood complemented the crystal chandeliers and marble columns perfectly.
