Manufacturing Workflow

• Stage 3 - Frame Joinery and Floating Panels: Mortise-and-tenon joints are cut to 18 mm tenon depth on rails and 16 mm on stiles. Floating panels are sized with a 4 mm expansion gap on each side to accommodate seasonal wood movement. Corner blocks are installed at every right-angle intersection.

• Stage 4 - Panel Door Carving: Door panels are carved after frame assembly. The carver works from a reference drawing but adjusts the floral motif to the grain of each board, ensuring structural integrity at each joint.
